Compared with other light sources such as cold white fluorescent lamp, high-pressure sodium lamp and metal halogen lamp, LED can more effectively convert light energy into photosynthetic effective radiation; In addition, it has the characteristics of long service life, small volume, light weight and solid state. Therefore, it has attracted much attention in ground and space plant cultivation in recent years. The research shows that led lighting system can provide lighting with uniform spectral energy distribution, and its efficiency of converting electric energy into light required by plants is 520 times higher than that of metal halide lamp.
