What is a plant -growing light, what is the difference between it is different from the usual light?

For the growth and development of plants, the light waves in the specific part of the spectrum need to be needed. In our color perception, this is light in red and blue. The wavelength of the blue part of the spectrum is 420-460 nm, and the wavelength of the red part is 630-670 nm. Plants need the rest of the spectrum, but the number is much less.
When planting seedlings and maintaining greenhouses, plants will "illuminate"-they use additional lighting to extend the time of sunlight. You can use ordinary lights for this operation, because their spectra also contains the required range of light radiation. The difference between plant -growing lights is that the spectrum is mainly composed of the required length. Therefore, theoretically, they will be more economical than conventional backlight. In fact, the "unnecessary" spectrum consumption of plants consume less energy. This light source is also called agricultural lights. Not only did they sell a single light bulb, but they also sold the entire lamps. They are also called plant -growing lights, also called plant supplementary lights. But the essence is the same-in this light source, there are a large number of red and blue light.

There are two types of growth lights. Some gases have a whole spectrum, but their difference is that the radiation intensity is higher within the required range. This is reflected in the spectral chart of this light source. The second type of lamp is narrow fluorescent light and LED. You can distinguish it from the traditional light source. Because of the main red and blue spectrum, purple light is emitted.
