The larger the insulation ratio, the better the insulation performance of the greenhouse.

Durability of the green house
The durability of greenhouse construction must be considered. The durability of greenhouse is affected by the aging resistance of greenhouse materials and the bearing capacity of greenhouse main structure. In addition to its own strength, the durability of transparent materials is also reflected in the continuous attenuation of material transmittance with the extension of time, and the attenuation degree of transmittance is the decisive factor affecting the service life of transparent materials. Generally, the service life of steel structure greenhouse is more than 15 years. It is required that the design wind and snow load shall be the maximum load once in 25 years; The service life of simple greenhouse with bamboo and wood structure is 5 ~ 10 years, and the maximum load with a return period of 15 years is used for the design wind and snow load.

Because the greenhouse operates in high temperature and high humidity environment for a long time, the surface anti-corrosion of components has become one of the important factors affecting the service life of greenhouse. In the steel structure greenhouse, the main structure under stress generally adopts thin-walled section steel, which has poor corrosion resistance. In the greenhouse, hot-dip galvanizing surface anti-corrosion treatment must be adopted, and the coating thickness reaches more than 150 ~ 200 microns, which can ensure the service life of 15 years. For the greenhouse with wood structure or steel bar welded truss structure, the surface anti-corrosion treatment must be guaranteed once a year.
